    If I understand your question,go to: Settings: Whole-Home: Share Playlist or External Device. I have one of my DVRs set to "Block" on external access. All my receivers are DVRs though, so could be different options for just receiver.

    Life Span of DVRs?

    My HDD went on my 2007 HR20-700 a couple years ago and I just added an external 2TB HDD. Like many posters, I'm a little reluctant to part with it due to the OTA tuner. Also have an HR-34 that I have been running an external 2TB esata HDD on since day 1 in the hopes of saving the internal HDD...

    Would be nice to at least have the main channel included with the rest of the regionals. Seems espn/abc/fox are already carrying the "best" games of the week though.
