will it not be possible for the voom satellite to be "mirrored" off the dish network satellite in the near future. I really don't want another dish, but i loved voom. this is probably a stupid question but i am willing to wait if that is the case.

I dont uderstand, are you saying i will need 2 dishes. i was planning to take the voom dish down as soon as the other one is installed. installation is this morning between 8 & 12 . i am getting 2 811's and 1 sd. I was hoping he could just trade them out in the same location.

I had dish b4 voom, I quess i'll go with direct this time since it sounds like they are about the same and i can get all the new customer deals if I can force myself to make the call. I just cant let go of voom. I think i need counseling.

DO either of the other 2 sat companies offer local hd thru the reciever the same way voom does? I will really miss that part of the voom service if not.
