I understand that in fact the guy next to him has a DISH HD dish and its pointing more south like others but a few are pointing the exact same direction as the directv 101 ? wonder if they flipped over from dish to directv and used the same dish,, heard people were doing that in the neighborhood

I have about 10 houses within 1/2 mile of me one next door that has DISHHD dish unit set on a pole pointing in the same exact direction as the other neighbors Directv slimeline dish unit? don't they use a different satellite , or could he be using a DISHHD and have directv service?

I am installing a Slimeline swm dish but I all so adding a outdoor HD anntena on the pole below .. what do I need to integrat the 2 together ? a diplexer ? if so how do I run that ,,,,before or after the 4 way swm splitter ?????

What exactly is spot beam? does it only work for certain dishes and someone said that a swm 3 dish will not get it and a swm 5 will ? will that give me locals? in my area?

really so id I hook up the swm unit I have to use a new receiver? I would of thought as long as the power is fed tot he swm unit and it was getting sat 101 it wold work..

I currently have directv service in my house with a older 18 inch round 1 LNB dish from 10 years ago. My box is a older D10 model that does not have HDMI or HD service.. I KNOW I can call directv and have them hook up my system for FREE BUT.......... I want to upgrade my service to get the HD...
