Wrong! No news is not good news when the stations are blacked out. Now that the FCC denied Dishs request to block the merger between Young and Media General things should get real nasty. Will Young Broadcastings 10 channels be blacked out any day now that they are also Media General?

If Dish does lose ESPN what is everybody's choice of new providers? I'm looking at Uverse. They seem to have the best service for the price. I hope things get settled, I would really miss the hopper.

I dropped xfinity for Dish. I still had xfinity internet and phone. Then I found Vonage phone for 12.99 vs 44.99. Now I'm down the just internet with xfinity.

I blinked first. Got the OTA adapter for hopper and made my home made coat hanger antenna. Added a $25 signal booster from Wal Mart and now I could not care less if Dish ever settles with Media General. Plus when the weather gets bad I can watch all local network channels. If there was some way...

One thing we should all agree on is if auto hop is the problem, it should be removed. I like it a lot but if every network decides to hold out because of it, we won't have it or the stations anyway. I have CBS blocked out now. Next will be ABC. Not much left to autohop.
