    Toshiba TRX-100 Sat Name

That one can't run a C-band actuator, and that's probably all he's using the Toshiba for, since it's an analog receiver, and there isn't ANY analog programming up there anymore. So, he wants the new names to better identify where to move to watch something. Me, I'd just make a label with the...

    Back in the game

IF you have a Facebook account, check Facebook Marketplace for any sat equipment that might be close enough to you. Stuff goes in and out of there all the time. Tell everybody local you know also, because somebody might have something they'll give you, just to get rid of it.

Stay away from Ranier, not a good company to deal with. Short of finding one on Ebay, this is pretty much your only choice: PR1200

Look at the instructions for this dish. The info also applies to your dish, though you'll have to translate it to your dishes specific adjustments.

As for testing your motor, take the back cover off of it, find the BLACK and RED wires going to the motor itself. Use a car battery, and give it 12 volts and see if it moves at all. You can go +12 volts to Red, and - to Black. It should work one direction. If so, reverse those wires, and the...

    Unable to pickup 101w

Look at the pole, right at where the mount and bolts are. They likely indented the metal when tightened up. Find those indents, (unscrew one bolt completely, and look through the hole to find the indents) and put the mount right on them, and retighten the bolts. Then, use your level and find...

    Unable to pickup 101w

Still, NO photos showing the mount, and NO proof that you've even checked if the pole is still level both ways at the top. I'm out. If you can't follow instructions, I'm not giving anymore help., because you'll never get anywhere if you refuse to start at the START, which means a LEVEL POLE and...

Magnetic declination can move up to 1 degree per YEAR depending on your area. You said that dish was originally installed 30 years ago? You need to find out what the declination is in your area NOW, and reset your dish for that.

    Unable to pickup 101w

Read this until you understand it well: C-Band Polar Mount Dish Installation Guide - TVROSat You also need to recheck that pole level, as it could have changed over 30 years. P.S. IF that dish has been on that pole for 30 years, Declination has changed a LOT since it was first setup. That...

Are you absolutely POSITIVE that the pole is level North-South and East-West? Hard to tell from your photo, but seems like it's leaning. Maybe an optical illusion, but we need to know for SURE.

Flashlight is fine, as long as the photos are lit up enough to get and idea of the settings. IF there's numbers and such, it would be good to be able to see them. Otherwise tomorrow with sun is good also.

    Unable to pickup 101w

I don't know as of yet. There's a LOT of things that must be perfect, in order to do so. Please understand that the c-band signal is about the size of a PENCIL width. You MUST BE dead-on to do so. It's NOT the same thing as aiming a tv antenna just "sort-of" and getting some signal. Give use...

    Unable to pickup 101w

We have no information to go on, you haven't told us anything about your setup. Where you are located, what receiver you have, how it's all hooked up, name of dish, what sort of lnb or lnbF you are using. Also, have you EVER installed a system before?

Trouble with WRC-TV Channel 4-1 Washington DC

Good, because when Byron Allen bought ThisTv, he turned it into pure crap. There's absolutely NOTHING left on it that's worth watching. No movies, and mostly trash programming.

    Old Alliance rotor repair

You can't buy repair parts. Rotor's are 1970's stuff, and unless you buy one of the expensive larger ham radio rotors, there just aren't any good consumer models available anymore. People combine antennas now using a Televes SmartKom, or in some cases a simple splitter used in reverse MIGHT...
