I just noticed that the Game Finder option is no longer available on my Joey 4. I still see "Your Games On Now & Upcoming" but the Games Finder that used to be listed in that column is now gone. Why would DISH do this?

Thought I would bump this thread and mention that it has been over a year now and this issue has not been addressed. So much for the Dish promises.

Plus they've been moved to the advanced Beta Tester level.

Have you tried this particular WJ4 on a different TV? If so and it works ok then it's probably your TV as mentioned.

Yep been following your situation for a long time now. I would have had Dish out to my house a long time ago. I have better things to do with my time than mess around with their sh!tty equipment, but that's just me.

Actually it doesn't. The one in Google only resets Android TV to it's factory default.

My thoughts are..."that's not the problem." It was more of a cheap trouble shooting step.

Ok BTW re read the one option. It confuses people, it says "Turn screen off" not "Turn screen saver off". Choosing that option will actually make the screen go black as a screen saver. ;)

Just curious, what do you have screen saver set to on the WJ4 under device preferences? If you have it set to "Turn screen off" Try changing it to one of the other 2 options. Also try putting your settings like this...

Again like I mentioned try the Downloader app's browser. I just did it using your criteria and had no issues moving the red circle to each result and selecting it using the arrow keys and select button on the remote. BTW I just installed the app you're using and even though I didn't have any...

Have you tried the HDMI CEC Less Adapter yet? Just curious.

You just click in the web address box and a keyboard comes up

Not sure if you've tried it but I use the browser that's built in to the Downloader app.

Like I said it's a really cheap way to totally eliminate one thing (CEC) to find out instead of buying a new TV first.

Charles, I had a similar problem with Shield TV not playing well with my Yamaha receiver. I bought an HDMI CEC Less Adapter to totally block CEC (pins 13 & 17). It's a cheap enough adapter to try and see if this fixes this issue. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DL48KVI
