With the release of the new Hopper 3 receiver, DISH has also developed a new Joey, named Joey 2.0, to ensure the best customer experience with this newer receiver. It is required that all technicians use the Joey 2.0 when installing Hopper 3 systems. The Joey 2.0 will pack out with the new 52.0...

What wiring changes will be required for Hopper 3

Wrong. I need a source becaused Dish directive states RG6 3ghz must be used for the host line. Ask any technician and they will tell you that with out 3ghz all the tuners won't pull through. Once it launches it will be a true single line system from the dish for less than the price of the h2 and sj. Honestly why would you need two h3? A...

Like I said earlier, I don't know at this point if there will be a WiFi 4k Joey. I'm one of the last people to know unfortunately. As I also stated the WiFi Joey works great so long as it has a reliable and strong signal. I assume it's possible if they use the 5ghz band as it can support higher...

Hello all, long time lurker and dish technician here. The hopper 3 will require the dish pro hybrid lnb on a 1000.2 dish. Eastern and western arcs are currently being deployed and BOTH have ports for a wing dish. It's a single line system for the hopper family. That being said, one line for one...
