someone ask for the instructions that came with the motor. Here is a picture of the chart showing latitude and elevation.

I am getting a lot of different answers as to what latitude or elevation I should use. Should I start over and make sure I have the pole mount inserted correctly? should I also zero out the motor since I used it to see if it would move?

I forgot to mention the pole clamp. Installing it upside down was the only way the screws would line up. Maybe I am wrong and it will line up. Have to go take a look at it tomorrow.

OK I was able to get everything put together. Now I'm having an issue with the elevation on the dish because I do not have a marker that shows where you're at with elevation. my dish elevation is supposed to be at 24 but I can tell just by looking at it it it is not right because it's pointed...

so my dish is probably fine without those brackets? I haven't got a chance to get back out there and mess with the dish yet. it would probably be an easier install without having to deal with the brackets.

That is probably correct. The instructions that came with the dish were not very good. I was wrong and connected them together instead of with the post. I will try that.

I took the pole clamp out attempting to make it fit. Those two support arms that come together with a bolt and nut are blocking any pole from sliding through. If I take those support arms off will it make the dish weak?

None of the holes for the screws seem to line up with what I'm supposed to be doing and I'm a little confused about what goes where.

I have had this signal meter for a week and it seems to be just like my freesat v7. Even if there is a signal it will not show a signal until a blind scan is done. Is this normal or am i doing something wrong? It takes a very long time to get a signal. move the dish a little then wait 3 minutes...

it looks like the idea of those turnbuckles would work really well to get the post level. How would this work in a bucket.

This is the only magnetic level that I could find. I went to Home Depot and bought the correct post with the numbers that were given on here. I think I might want to do this in a bucket of cement because I'm probably going to need to move the dish at some point. I will read the other thread...
