that is definately not true. During the GOES16 test phase at 89.5 degrees (Mid US), I had just about the same signal level as I do now with it parked east. Also Brett had signal on an 8 ft dish in California in the 6.5 db SN range at the same time. I asked NOAA, and they say its not a spot beam...

I have the DD card and you have to pull the coax a few times to get it to start sending data. My SN is 11. I have a Omicom card but it didnt seem to work. I may put it back in and test it again. Only drawback of the Omicom is that it has only one tuner. Need 2 of them for both streams.

Grbstreamer puts out the CADU frames, or bbframes. I have bbframe sample files if you need them. I beleve N6BY has them. CSPP-GEO works fine with the CADU output from GRBStreamer.

that would be great to save the config. Mine will relock of I pull the coax for 4 secs then put back. Sometimes a few times. Now that I moved the bias tee close to the dish, it has stayed locked for 2 days straight now. Im using solar to power it all.

I tried grbdump on all kinds of hardware, you cannot give it enough CPU lol.

Each feed has different bands on it.

You cannot "tee" the cable, you have to feed each into a tuner, which generates a stream. Then feed the streams into ingest software (Uses UDP different ports for each)

I had to use the latest firmware. Other than that, unplugging the coax for 4 seconds or so and putting it back on speeds up the lock for some reason. TURN off the LNA power from the card! I get like .01 percent cadu errors thats it.

to get it into awips, you need to run the unidata LDM software on the cspp-geo box, and insert the lightning into a queue to send to the awips ingestor. I added a line in the CSPP-GEO code to do that when GLM arrives. I can find it and paste it if you need it.
