Where can I get the transponder update for the AIM and can I load it on a regular thumb drive?

I haven't updated the AIM. I bought it off EBAY 2 months ago. The satlook Lite meter will not lock either, nor will the on-screen setup show any signal strength on 99, 101 or 103. The AIM works fine on my home setup with a 5-LNB SWM and HR-44 receiver.

I don't have the radio yet, but the picture they sent shows a radio with touch screen which mounts on the dash with velcro or ???. A wire goes to the cig lighter and another wire goes to an external antenna which you throw on the dash I guess. Looks like a rats nest of wires on the dash board...

B- Band converter makes no difference on any channel. You don't need the BBC when using the AIM, do you?

I lost all channels except 0 and 1 on my XM truck radio. SiriusXM cannot refresh after many many attempts. Sirius tech says to bring to my dealer to check the receiver. Has anyone had this problem and if so what did the dealer do and how much did it cost?

Thanks for all the replies. I called Directv and they checked the model, serial no. and receiver ID and activated the receiver. Now I am waiting for a new reflector for my dish from Solid Signal since the old one won't get a lock on any satellite.

I purchased an HR22 receiver at a flea market and a friend gave me a slimline dish and brand new 3LNB. I want to use this setup with my RV and for tailgating. What is the best hassle free way to get this turned on by Directv? I am an existing customer with a wireless Genie system at home with DVR.
