What are the “HD Occ” channels for? I found several of them in the smart search results and they all showed either the D* logo or a black screen. They also all had the option to launch the ScoreGuide.

It is. It ended last Wednesday, so now all areas can get a new satellite subscription.

Yeah, I keep seeing that mentioned in the various Dish threads on here. I’m guessing Dish planned to include it in one of their new receivers but they just forgot? Or maybe it was something that was being beta tested a long time ago and was just never released to regular customers yet?

It looks like this weird “block” has finally been lifted. I just opened up my Stream app and it immediately loaded the stream for WCAX (the affiliate where I’m currently at), rather than giving me that aforementioned error.

It’s not showing for me on the app. I have satellite.

I’m now getting Albany stations, so I decided to try WRGB 6 and sure enough, I’m getting the same error. Seems like Mission is forcing some kind of blackout of CBS programming in all markets if the customer is traveling and their home affiliate is affected by the dispute. Funny thing is that...

Ah. That sucks if that's really the case. I can access all the other NY stations with no issues except for WCBS.

CBS is currently airing a WNBA game, if that helps. I'm thinking it might be because of some kind of contractual restriction with that league.

I am currently traveling and am getting the New York stations on the Stream app. For whatever reason, WCBS is giving me a “Looks like you’re traveling” message, but I’m clearly within the NYC market. Could it be because of the ongoing dispute with WYOU, which is the affiliate I have at home? TYIA.

I think that's a data channel used for program guide listings on over-the-air (OTA) stations that appear in the guide alongside the satellite local channels if an antenna is connected. WNPB is the callsign of a PBS station in West Virginia.

While exploring the DirecTV.com/locals page, I came across generic “NBC East” channels, which appear to be for markets where Nexstar owns the local NBC affiliate. They are shown as being only on Stream. I checked the Scranton and Elmira listings and saw such channels, but no such channel for...

BTW, I have not been getting any "Missing guide info" or "Acquiring guide data" error messages.

As of this morning, most of the aforementioned channels are back to normal. However, the Kids Mix (189) and most of the Sat Test channels still say TBA.

I see. I just went to 811 and it says "To Be Announced" at the top but I still hear the music and it even shows the title/artist/album info.

All of the in-house networks (like the Sports Packages channel and Mix channels) are even displaying TBA in the guide. Is there some kind of guide data delivery issue?

For whatever reason, a whole bunch of my Music Choice channels are now displaying To Be Announced. Specifically: 801, 803, and everything after 811.
