I've got a 811 and a 522,and have to be honest. I'm not really impressed with the 811 and H.D. programming and am thinking about swapping the 811 for another 522.Anybody else ever do this? Don't know if Dish will do it. Thanks.

software update I'm still waiting for my software update.I turn off my receiver every night, and try to manually download the update, but no luck. Any ideas? Have there been a couple of updates since 284? Thanks.

I too am a former Dish customer, and after many e-mails they gave me a similar offer as well. Only thing I didn't get that the "new" accounts got was, free programming.

new customer I also was frustrated with all the goodies the new accounts get, and former customers get kicked to the curb. Account was in my name, so tried wives name, but no go, computer kicked it out.
