    Sounds like the tree is at fault. Rather than tree trimming, I would sugget moving the dish away from the tree.

    Quad No, quad wrap isn't necessary. I see the cable companies using it so I guess they have interference problems we don't have.

    Dish Mounting As an alternative, you may want to consider going with a pole mount rather than fighting that brick. A standard chain link fence post (line post) is exactly the right size for the dish.
