    The rebate thing was a bit confusing, sirius says 6 months required but circuit city doesn't. I dont know if cc has a special arrangement or what.

    thats the best I've seen. They were 130 after the 30 rebate a few weeks ago. You do need to pay for like 6months service for the rebate..

    Dayton OH. There are plenty of 'empty' channels, but they all have a bit of static. If I go 30 mi out of town I can get about 30ft range from car unit to the (same) boom box.

    yea, I thought to do the kitchen radio thing too, but I can only get about 6ft range at my house. (In the city we have NO completely dead FM channels..)

    surely there must be a proper way, i.e. install matching plugs on the cut ends with a crimp tool of some sort. I want to cut mine so I can push it through a small hole (not liking drilling a 7/16" hole in my car you know..). I'd like to shorten the cable while I'm at it. Alternately if...
