I took the plung today also, done with Dish and coming on over to D* and can't wait.... Finally I will have my LOCAL CBS in HD!! Versus too just in time for Hockey Playoffs, GO WINGS!!

That would be nice!! I'm about 2 seconds away from calling Direct TV and getting their service so I can have this channel in HD.....

Anyone have any new info on an ETA on this channel? Still pissed Dish doesn't have this channel yet.... Football starts next weekend, LETS GO!!!

Grand Rapids - CBS Just wondering who I would contact about not having this in HD? Does anyone have an email address I can send an email too? I have emailed the local CBS WWMT station and got the standard "We are working on a contract blah blah blah" Thanks guys!

I have a dish 1000 and he installed a D500 and pointed it to 61.5. Then he ran a cable to the D1000. I have a VIP222, 622 and everything works great moving from dish to dish. I don't think you will need a switch, but someone else with more knowledge will be able to answer that.

I would like to say these are coming in clear as a bell and the install went great. I just hope to get CBS WWMT before football season starts.......

Just wondering what the status is on this getting on to our HD Local listing? I know CBS (WWMT) and Dish are fighting over CW7 or something. Just seeing if someone has an update to this? How much longer? Who can I email about getting this on? Thanks for the info.

Called this morning and Dish is coming out on July 3rd to hook it up.... Downside I had to pay $59.95 to get this, which I think is CRAP. I would of loved to sign a contract instead of paying that... Oh well, ND GAMES will look GREAT THIS YEAR!!!

As long as it's before football season i'm good!!!! Just hope CBS WWMT, decides to pull their head out and agree already.....

Ok.... I finally got someone good on the phone and they did some searching and they will be on tomorrow. :) Then I can make the call to get another dish pointed at 65.1. JOY!

I called Dish and the REP says they don't have them yet...... What the crap? Does these REPs not know anything? I'm sure I have to get another dish or have it repointed, I would just like to have it setup if I do.... Anyone else getting this same info from the REP at Dish?

So I called Dish today and the REP still say's Grand Rapids, MI doesn't have HD locals yet, but will in 2008..... Do these REPs still not know they are available yet? or do I need to try again tomorrow? Thanks

I called Dish about 5min ago and they said we don't have Grand Rapids as to having HD locals yet.... So did I jump the gun and have to wait till Thursday 06/26/08 to call and find out what I need to do to get them? Thanks

Just so I understand this.... The Sat. 61.5 which will in time have my local HD channels (Grand Rapids, MI) I will need another Dish on my house to get it? Why in the world would Dish have a sat in a totally different direction than the current one's? That seems dumb.... With DirectTV you only...
