    Help with dish working through new tv

    Ok I'm a complete n00b at this sort of thing. I bought a 51" Sony Widescreen HDTV and want to hook up my dish to it. The guy told me to buy a S video cable, so I did. I have it plugged up and its not working. I don't know the names to everything and was hoping someone could help me out...
