New IPTV - Foreign Television Service!

I have been using it for a few months, and I love the service. But I agree, their customer service has some issues. I got double-billed one month, and sent a message requesting a refund. That was not taken care of. So I sent another. That was also promised to be resolved, and was not. My...

New IPTV - Foreign Television Service!

The 1.258 mbps should be plenty of bandwidth, given the rate on the Italian channels is 600-900 kpbs. I think they state that you need 1.5 mbps to be safe.

    EXCLUSIVE: AT&T HomeZone First Look

I'm in an apartment, and can confirm that they won't do the install, even though I own the place. Kind of crazy if you ask me.

    Any ITVN/XTV news?

I just saw an ad at www.skyreport.com stating that Starz, Starz On Demand, Music Videos, Karaoke, and more were coming in July 2006. It was a dealer ad to pick up more distribution.

AT&T announces $336 million video TV plan, other upgrades

I can't recall what the article stated (it was from many months ago), but I believe that it had to do with the cost of the cable, as well as certain equipment. But if labor is the major cost, then the savings would be negligible. I would love FTTP, but I guess I'm of the opinion that I'll...

    Anyone have experience?

Thanks, I'll check it out. I'm using the online plan now, but I'm thinking that maybe if I get the box, I can setup a DVR to control the box and record the shows. This device will come in handy if the content outputs on the box are protected.

AT&T announces $336 million video TV plan, other upgrades

Well, according to some posts at http://www.uverseusers.com/ , users are syncing their lines at 25 megabits, but the lines are capable of 40-50. I think AT&T prefers to use conservative synch rates for the technology, but the truth is that if they start moving the fiber closer to the homes...

    EXCLUSIVE: AT&T HomeZone First Look

So this is odd. I just called to order HomeZone in San Diego, and they are saying that they only have Standard Definition Programming on the Homezones. High Definition is coming, but they do not know when. The rep even checked with his manager. This seems kind of weird to me, but has anyone...

    Anyone have experience?

I just signed up for the Italian package at overseatv.com, and it works great. I get 8 channels that I could not otherwise get for 19.95/month. My only complaint is that the content is DRM encoded, which makes it difficult to record anything. And their dedicated unit does not offer any DVR...

    118.7 Internationals Information

Just curious, but it says " All languages not listed below, are currently and permanently available from either the 148 or 61.5 orbital locations. " I noticed that the Italian channels are not in the list here, but the DISH Network website only shows them at 121 right now (with the exception of...
