I have had the same problem with basketball games. The first airing on ESPN or ESPN2 is skipped. The second showing on ESPNU is scheduled for recording. I got caught once. Since then I check the scheduled recordings and restore the original airing. And I do not have all 16 tuners in use.

The 4K Joey is pretty worthless for Dish 4K. I found out the hard way after shelling out extra money to have my Joey replaced with a 4K Joey. I also ran in circles with Tech Support who insisted it would work. Finally gave up and then found posts here detailing the fact that I wasted my money.

You can watch Airtv outside of your home network, as compared to the Tablo 4th Gen which does not have that funtionality. As for your crashes, is it possible that you are losing internet connectivity for a short amount of time? This could possibly cause your app to "crash".

I'm pretty sure that Airtv 2 does not work with ATSC 3. It is only designed to work with ATSC 1.0. As for working properly, mine works fine with ATSC 1.0 channels.

Doesn't make a lot of sense. One hand of Dish (Sling Airtv) can provide OTA data but the other hand of Dish (Satellite) cannot.
