Do you by any chance get your locals OTA and not via satellite? This could be the reason that 540-01 is missing.

So if Dish and DirecTV merge and if it is not a merger of equals, then AT&T would indirectly own most of a competing cell phone provider. It seems that Dish would have to be spun off from Echostar to get this deal approved.

You are correct. I checked my bill and am being charged for the H3. Don't know where in my mind that I got the first receiver being free unless it is a non-dvr receiver (211K) that is not charged. Also that website doesn't even list the Hopper 3 which is miles ahead of a Hopper 2.

That is strange because the 99 channels have been there forever and do not require broadband. Did you go to Menu, Menu, Settings, Parental Control, Locked Channels to make sure the channels were not locked out?

Actually $91.39 - 200 package with OTA on the locals. One year contract with $40 credit per month. Have to negotiate that one, though up to now I have always been able to do so.

Do you have the 099 channels or are they missing also? Another couple of things to check - do you have any channels locked out? I have been bitten by that once. I locked out the shopping channels and accidentally locked out a channel I didn't mean to lock out. Also are you using a favorites list?
