    Some other threads mention they use ZigBee which means the theoretical max number of remotes you can link to one hopper is in the thousands but the hopper software probably couldn’t and who would test that? I do know I successfully linked 8 remotes to the hopper 3 without issue.

    Will have to go that route. So annoying as for over a year, just a system reboot would fix it if it happened to disappear after the nightly reboot, or at most an EHD physical reconnect every few months. Now we are back to the “unplug” everything solutions?

    Just recieved U544 this morning. Anyone know shst it adds? Usually my EHDs don’t show after nightly soft reboot and I have to unplug hopper. They are there after U544 update, but might just be because upgrades are like a power cycle.

    If the ruling stands, it makes TiVo a defacto monopoly codified by the courts. As a monopoly, they can NOT refuse to license their product to Dish nor charge more for it without Dish having an anti-trust claim against TiVo. That's the last thing TiVo wants.
