Souds like a hybird, but looking a t the serial numbers and model number in the back should tell you. If you call them and give them a serial number of that box, it would be interesting to see what they say.

I'm in Northern NJ and don't make me go there. We seem to have less than other regions and I live a 30 minutes away form their headquaters! We don't have HGTV, CNN, Food HD, History HD, FSN-South HD, USA HD, or SciFi HD

It may not be a signal issue. While it would be a benefit to run the new cable. Call comcast and tell them to send to your a signal. They will be able to let you know if they could see the box and send a signal authorizing those channels again. It worked for me.

Comcast Tivo is here. Anyone have it and if so what are your thoughts?

Bloomberg reported that the Comcast/TiVO STB's are being rolled out in a limited portion of the New England market starting this week. Howver, the roll out is anticipated to be sloooowww!

It depends where you live? But in the past I have brought the box back to the local Comcast office and asked for a new one stating that there was a problem with the current one. They usually have the lastest models on had which the installer may not.

I have a Motorola 6412 and a Motorola 3416, 120 and 160 gig hard drives respectively. I am happy with them for the most part. They have been talikin about a new Panasonic box for some time, but I haven't seen or heard of it being out yet.
