    I just bought a Toshiba DVD recorder/DVR. The codes given for Dish Network set top boxes are not working through the IR blaster. Does anyone have a Toshiba DVR in their setup and no what the code is for the Set Top Box settings that works with an 811? Thanks.

    Third party DVD recorders with hard drives

    Does anyone have a DVD recorder in their setup that they are able to control with the IR blaster on an 811 receiver? I am looking at getting a Toshiba RD-XS34 and was wondering if it will work just like a VCR in terms of recording.
