Hands down, the helpful members and staff. If I'm looking for the latest satellite news, there's only one place to get it - satelliteguys is the best resource on the web for satellite info.

We've had these in Lincoln for a few months in the 1900's range. I think that these channels are there for TWC's upcoming 'Family' package. If it were strictly for digital simulcasting, there'd be no point to the already digital channels being duplicated like Discovery Kids, DIY, etc.

I've had the same problem with my Viewsat and I'm using the latest firmware from the Viewsat website (V2013). I find that turning the switch off on the back of the box and then turning it back on will get it back. I'm not too happy with my VS2000, I think I'm going to be shopping for a new...

I understand and respect your wishes PSB, but those channels are also listed on Mike Kohl's website which I know has been referenced on Satelliteguys before. That's why I thought it was OK - sorry.

Although I'm sure one of the more experienced members could answer you better, I believe you're on Nimiq 1/3 at 91 degrees. I know that there are a lot of audio channels in the clear there and I think Galaxie Music is based in Canada.

I just bought a VS2000 Platinum because it was advertised as having "True Blind Scan Software". I was looking forward to using it for news feeds. When I go to the satellite installation menu, I do get a blind scan option if you press the green F2 button. I tried this on IA-6 but it doesn't...
