    Vip622 for OTA without active Dish Service?

    :confused: I recently had to cancel my dish service. I still own a VIP 622 and would like to use it to (manually) record local OTA. Is this possible?

    No more Chicago DMA on 61.5 - BYE

    My Condo in Chicago has the world's worst cable. My balcony faces east so I could get Voom. When it went away:( , I picked up Dish just to get the Voom channels and more importantly to record local HD via the fantastic 942 and now 622. Apparently last week, 61.5 lost the Chicago DMA/guide info...
