What if one's R10 was stuck at 6.1, yet went out and spent 30 mins in the middle of the night every night for the past week downloading updates. Does 6.2 even exist for an R10?

I would get the R15, I have them both. I'm currently not using the R15, but once all the glitches are worked (which I think they will be) I think the R15 will be a superior unit. Shawn

Sounds more like the two year commitment I got jabbed with. I don't think that's consider leasing. After two years, if your done, you keep your box still.

Any word on whether or not this new update fixed the series link issues with recording the wrong shows? Shawn

You won't. I have everything from my first R15, except the R15. My second R15 I have everything from ot including the R15. I'm running an R10, and DirecTV let me keep the R15.

I'm with you, but until directv fixes the R15, I'm stuck with it. I can live without video in guide, but how slow the guide is kills me. The resetting the time when your browsing the guide really pisses me off too. I'm in love with the 30 second skip though. I'll have the best of both worlds...

Well, after a reboot I get the same thing. This was like this since about lunch time. I think this one may be junk as well :-/

I just got an R10 to replace the sh!tty R15 I have, but one thing I noticed is under my To Do List and using the find function shows don't come up. It has only been on for 6 hrs, but the guide is populated and the to do list shows nothing. It shows no viewings of Numbers, Close to Home, or...
