i just activated timetrax 3.2 some time ago i tried to install timetrax 3.4 on a new computer using my original serial number...it didn't work...after i read this thread in went to tt website and downloaded 3.2...i just activated it sucessfully with my original ser # and recorded a few song...

thanks for the info, phuck nut...i have wondered for a long time about how signals get into and out of sound card...it looks like going straight into card with digital is worse than analog...by the way antivirus is avg

i've had the same problem the folls at tt tried to blame it on the fact that i am using a digital fiberoptic adapter on my xm radio...i think they were just rying ro blow me off so i kept trying different things...after experimenting i tried turning off antivirus and so far (knock on wood)...

I asked this in forum earlier this month but ces was going on and folks who are probably in the know were perhaps unavailable to answer

this poses several questions for me...what is sample rate and bit depth of sat data?...how good is d/a convertor in my black generic xmd 1000 box? is it worthwhile to get digital output adapter for sat receiver and feed into digital input of sound card ? what comes out of sound card analog ...

it seems to me that a simple method of rejecting commercials is to go into config. and set tt to not record anything less than one minute or so...i do that with regular xm song recording and it works fine

that same thing occurred to me after i made the post...i if that is so then all I'm gaining is the use sound blasters d/a converter instead of the one in the xm box

i have installed in the xm receiver a kit which taps into the digital output before the a/d converter and then this feeds via fireroptic cable into optical input on sound card...i was hoping that that was what the raw setting would capture

hi I'm new here I found a lot of helpful stuff...i wonder if anyone can explain the raw format option in time trax....it seems to me that raw would be the form in which it is received from xm or Sirius and that the format (sample rate byte size etc are already defined) am I missing...
