i received the S213 update on my 2nd Hopper(1st Hopper was already upgraded) last night and so far so good...

well it looks like if you go through a local installer you can get any combination of Hoppers and Joeys installed...my installation went very well with 2 Hoppers and 1 Joey

i have a 211 and am using HDMI with no issues...

i bought a Vip211 and just wanted to activate the 7 new channels. in the queue for 15 minutes starting at 6 am CST...call center i was talking to was in the MST time zone. took 30 min to activate my HD-SILVER package.

yup...i reset my receiver too...the mystery continues....

my point on the 360 power issue is to make sure its not competing with other devices for power...I have had ZERO issues with games or DVD's with it being the ONLY device plugged into a power source

Just make sure you plug the power supply in the wall socket and not a power strip...I have had no problems...also i went ahead and spent the $59 on the extra 2 yr warranty but I think you have only 10 days to do it....

i use it to watch DVD's...i use component video on my HD 46" Sony @ 720P upconverted...picture looks pretty good....better than SD I would say
