As stated previously, due to the track record so far I'd say the DVR won't be here until after the first of the year. I'll just continue to use my ReplayTV in SD mode until that time comes.

Overall I think you're better off with a 24" over a 30" because the 30" will wobble more in high winds and affect the signal. I've had the 24" for several months now and it's made a definite improvment during rain storms.

Yes, Replay Rocks. it's already able to share recordings between boxes I've been doing it for 2 years now. The HD PVR will take that a step further :yes

Finally got Sci-fi channel, it showed up last night in the 500 range. :yes

Had my upgrade 24" dish installed and now have a signal strength of 97~98. We've had lot's of rain here in Dallas during June and even now into July so I'm hoping this cuts down on my rain fade and signal loss substantially.

I'm a big F1 and Inday car Fan as well and would love to see the races in HD!

I had my install completed on Saturday (McKinney,TX) with no problems. I already had an antenna installed in the attic, for OTA receiver I had, which he used. Mounted dish and ran new cable, which I had pull string in place to fish through the wall in living room, to receiver. I pulled the cable...
