    FIXED IT!!!!!!!!! I was just messing around with it and reset it to factory defaults, reboot and wham it started working!! go figure that. The reason I said lie is there is no such thing as a "magic" cable for the HD receivers the cables are the same for the SD and HD RG6 coax if the tech or CSR...

If resetting your 811 (hold power button on front of reciver for approx 10 sec. or unplug) does not help check the line going to your "converter" I am guessing this is a modulator that puts your 811 on a certain channel? and make sure voltage is not going back...
