    In my opinion, it is worth the switch. In my area, the Dish Network all digital picture is much better than Comcast analog cable.

    Yes, the 622 will pass the ota dolby 5.1 stream. You would have to set the DVR to record manually.

    I just turned my box on and was prompted that the new software is available. I downloaded it. New graphics are cool...no new programming yet though. (Version 2.55430)
