    Just turn off the 625 and tune the channels with your TV as you would normally. You'll need another device (like a VCR) to record them, though.

    I was wondering when this was going to happen. I've had CMT Pure Country in my database for several weeks, but couldn't find any cable companies who carried it. I figured it had something to do with VH1, this just confirms it. Thanks for the info! :-)

    I suggest that those of us who enjoy distant network programming petition AGAINST the renewal of broadcast licenses for the stations involved in this suit. Slum-lord locals can't claim you in their Grade B service area if they can't legally provide a signal, now can they? :mad:

    Perhaps that's what the OP really needs, something like Starchoice or Bell ExpressVu. There is all sorts of French-language programming on Canadian television.

    Bad News For Hackers

    Wow, I didn't realise that they made such a variety of FTA recievers. I suppose it makes sense, since they already have the expertice with DVB-S technology. I wonder if they would authorize one of these recievers domestically. (FTA and Dish programming on a E* dual-tuner DVR system? Sweet!)
