I have the same issue in NY. I do not have a long run and it happens only on the new HD locals (CBS, ABC, NBC, and Fox). I see the same exact thing happen, but only on my HD locals (2, 4, 5, and 7 in NY) that I just started received through D*. Do you kow if these channels are on the same satellite as TNT HD? Is it the 103 satellite? I was thinking that it was a transmission issue and not a dish pointing issue...

Thank you!!!! Sorry for not being clear. The first dish that is working has the 6x8 external multi switch made for the AT 9 and has 4 lines comming off of that multi switch. Since I have only 4 lines, seems I do not need the miulti switch. But I am leaving it alone now as it's working...

Well, had 3 additional techs visit. They conclued that since the second dish only feeds 1 tv, it should not have a multiswitch and that the dish or signal was being confused by the presence of the multiswitch. He removed the multiswitch and it worked. They took a long time to figure it out and...

Thanks -- Just called. They said their techs carry all of the parts for the new 5-LNBs (multiswitches and Lnbs) and that they would include a new dish as well just in case.

Well, switched out the receiver for one of the ones that gets all of the channels from the first dish -- and had the same issue. It's definitely the dish. Does anyone know if the directv installers carry extra multi-switches and LNBs for the new 5-lnb dish or should I call them?
