    got a dish 500 w/legacy lnb & a 2800 receiver can't seem to get any signal receiver works with my old dtv dish/lnb am I overlooking something in setup of receiver?? any help appreciated

    using a dtv sat dish that has two dual lnbs with 4x multiplexer hooking 2800 receiver to it. worked great with a dtv receiver.

    015 acquiring satellite signal -- 2800 model

    I just got an Echostar 2800. Hooked it up to me DTV oval dish (one with two dual lnbs). First thing after I turned it on was to see the 015 "acquiring satellite signal. Is the reciver broken? If so, what would i need to repair to obtain a signal. Thanks for any help
