Were you chat people given a reference number to use with the rebate?

I didn't even get an order number, but I found my order number by clicking on "My Shipments".

I wasn't given a number. If it turns out I need one, I'll call them back when it's time to fill out the rebate.

Also, my CSR said the rebate was a prepaid MasterCard, not American Express. She may have been mistaken. I don't care too much either way. She also said the card would arrive in 30 days after the rebate was processed.

I was just told to fill out the rebate online. It wasn't clear whether I had to wait 45 days to fill it out or if i had to fill it out within 45 days. I suspect the form will be at dish.com/getslingadapterreward (which just says "The system is currently unavailable, please try again later"...

I've done exactly this with a DG 380. It's been working great for over a year. I bought a foot of clear flexible pvc tubing at the hardware store (probably 1.25" diameter) and cut pieces of it to shim the motor shaft.

Yep. Honest-to-goodness analog. Attached is a pic. Note my analog receiver is tuned to "38.7", which is 1387 IF + 10600 LO = 11987 MHz.

Standard Ku Analog TPs are 11720, 11740, etc. 121W is apparently one of the exceptions. If 18, 19, and 20 don't work, Ch 14 might be 11980 and ch 15 might be 12000, so you could try those as well. My analog receiver is pretty much completely manual, so I don't know much about how a nicer Ku...

There is one on 121 right now at 11987 V (TR 19?).

That must be a channel that used to be there but isn't anymore. Lyngsat doesn't list it, and I don't see it here (I get the 11477 transponder loud and clear).
