No I meant the transponder on the dish aiming screen on dish network. It gives you the choice of satellite 110 119 etc., then also the transponders. Sometime on will say Spot beam. any ideas??

In south Texas, What are the transponders for?? We never know which ones to look at while aiming the dish.:eek:

Here in south texas, They say we only need 110 and 119. We always set up this way for oil field mobile homes. We move them around every couple of weeks along with the oil drilling rig. The dish 500's are set up on old tire rims and set on the ground to make it easy to move around to the next...
