Did you have to sign a contract for the hopper w/sling? Was that an upgrade on a hopper you already had or an extra hopper?

The game is at Fenway. No way NESN is not carrying this in HD. DISH has been screwing up sox HD coverage since the season started. This is definitely a dish issue.

Hey, rest assured that Dish is not blacking out the red sox on NESN in monroe. I am using a monroe zip code and I get the sox on NESN every night. This could change at any time but it's been like this for several years. The problem discussed earlier in this thread was a major mistake dish...

Tonight, the Bruins playoff game is at the same time as the red sox game. NESN handles this on cable networks by offering NESNPlus to air the extra game (in this case, bruins would be on NESN and sox on NESNPlus). Will Dish do the same? Will we get both games in HD (or at all?) or will we...

glad i'm not the only one that noticed this. i started thinking it was an artifact of having dishes pointed to both 61.5 and 129.

i also just received word that the game is still on NESNHD using a monroe (zip 064xx) address. can probably put this one to bed...phew...

and especially not on nesnhd. they treat the pregame as part of the game on nesnhd. they don't even have separate guide entries for the pregame. but i will have her check again after 7.

Well, I was able to tell it to record tonight's game on NESNHD using the slingguide. So we'll see. I'm not home right now so can't try recording directly from the box.

I don't understand the wording. What is meant by "pulled"? Don't all CT zip codes start with 06xxx?

Well, to be fair, fairfield county should technically be blacked out. It will be interesting to see if fairfield county is still blacked out once this whole mess is sorted out and fixed. If it is, you could still try "moving" to another county in CT but you will probably get CT locals rather...

I found a statement made by NESN in 2006 that defines the red sox territory as "all of New England except Fairfield County, CT". Assuming this has not changed recently, DISH is in error and should rectify the situation. I hope they turn Monroe back on in the process even though I know Monroe...
