I have taken the advice of Mr. Carter and ordered a dish pro plus twon lnb to attempt to resolve my weak signal problem . Can someone please confirm that the DPP twin has a built in switch so all I need to do is run the coax from it to the 311 to receive 110 and 119 satellites. Thanks. :)

Thanks for the reply. Based on your help, I now know that I have two dual LNBs feeding the SW21. When I checked the 311 at a friend's it registered around 30, as I recall. I checked The Dish Store and they have a Dishpro twin and a Dishpro Plus twin ...which do you recommend? I don't think...

From a newbie still learning the lingo: I have a legacy 500 dish with a twin LNB and SW21 feeding a 311 receiver. I live in San Diego and have good signal strength on 119 spotbeams but poor on transponder 15. The signal varies from 20 to 0. I have really clear LOS after cutting down two trees...
