    remote code Tried the codes with the unit on and still couldn't make it work. Thanks for the suggestion.

    Just got dish network and I'm unable to program the remote to work my samsung HT-DS610 A/v receiver. being the A/V receiver usually controls the volume, it would be nice if I could find the code. I switched from directv and with the directv remote I was able to operate the receiver.
