Well, from the numbers I've seen, it only takes WM9 8 mbps to equal MPEG-2 at 24 mbps. I don't know what Voom is averaging now with MPEG(I've seen some suggest around 14 mbps), but at 10 or 12 mbps, I would expect WM9 encoded material to be considerably better than what we are seeing now. So...

OK, I see what you mean. The last menu item is "Channel List" which allows me to hide channels on the guide below 100. It has always been there in version 6.0, as well. Yes, that would be nice--I don't notice any differences in the menu system itself. Maybe it just contained some "fixes"...

There is no "Hide OTA" that I can see and the installation wizard is in the installers menu. It looks all the same to me. My guide information finally came up, at least. In the systems settings it shows: Current Software Version: V00.01.10 HAL Version: 00.06.10.

I've had mine off most of the day after rebooting several times. The main guide came up right away when I just tried it, but it went to a black screen when tuning a channel. I'm going to reboot and see if it works for me like it has started working for others. I just got it saturday, so...

I was a little concerned after reading some of the horror stories, but my installers were great. They were in and out in less than an hour and got good signal lock and all the channels, including OTA, in a jiffy.
