I am just glad to see the station back up. I don't have the choice of receiving the channel over the air and Dish is prohibited from giving me a signal from another area........sorry NW but I'm on Dish TV's side. Just hope they're back for good!

Second time my 922 has done this continuous reboot since the new software update..............froze up again this morning and rebooted for over 30 minutes! After reading earlier that they have discontinued the 922 and now having problems I can't say that I am too happy at the moment.

I am finding this reference to recycling interesting. Sunday morning was watching a movie and the signal froze..............I thought no big deal I'll just reset it. The unit cycled through booting for about 10 minutes before it finally booted up. I tried unplugging and reset but neither did...

Any word yet on when we will be able to write to our external hard drives? :confused:

Just got home from work.....turned the TV on and everything is back to normal. Not sure what was wrong last night but it seemed to solve itself. If it was someone else I would chalk it up to operator error.............Hmmm. Anyway it is back to working so I won't question it and just hope it...

Just tried it on my iPhone and was able to view my recordings. I was just a little tedious having to use the remote to go through the menus. Would be nice if we were able to use the touch screen to tap and select items. :)

I am having problems on my VIP622. I use both tuners on 1 TV and swap channels all the time. The problem I have is that on 1 tuner I can view all my HD channels and on the other tuner I can only view the channels in SD, the HD channel is black but does have sound. I am perplexed..............it...

I agree, Dish is overpriced......................I use BlockBuster on demand at $3.99.

No same channel, I have tried several and it's the same. I use swap to watch different channels as it is faster and I can pause/ rewind etc. On my 622 the volume level is the same.

I have tried both ways and still the same. Just odd that the sound is louder on one tuner than the other. thanks for the reply

I have noticed that the sound is at a different volume depending which tuner. I swap back and forth quite a bit and this is a little annoying as I have to adjust the volumn each time. Anyone experiencing this problem or have a suggestion on how to fix it. This is a 922. :) TIA

I can not believe how confusing this is. My account shows that I would need to pay the $99 to get HD for life but in reading Dish TV Blog: I should be grandfathered in as I have always had the Gold HD along with the Platinum HD! At this time I will wait to see my next bill...

This has also happened to me on several occasions. Solution so far has been a reboot of the system. :(

Nothing here yet on the West coast (Washington State) :confused: Rebooted both receivers, no luck. Tried calling dish but no one knows anything. Hopefully by tonight when I get home it will be up. Been waiting this long, guess a few more hours will be ok. :cool:

Whatever channel it is that you want I suggest we do just that until they at least give us a timetable for adding new channels. Right now they have us all speculating as far as what they will do and sitting on the edge of our couches every Wednesday to see if we will get any new channels. I...
