    In case anyone was wondering, I am in the Lafayette, IN DMA and although we receive Indianapolis channels, my DMA is not authorized the HD feeds. I do get the SD feeds.

    From what I see, if you lock a channel to hide it from the program guide, it also locks all recordings from that channel. I recently hid my duplicate HD channels so they would not show up in search and all of my recordings from these channels are now locked.

    And the parent company (LIN) also owns WLFI in Lafayette and they are also included in the deal according to my local paper today. I may finally be able to get locals in Lafayette, IN.

    811 remote question

    Perhaps that model of TV detects an active input from the satellite receiver and turns itself on and switches to the input. My Hitachi RPTV does that for just 1 of it's inputs. If you have something attached to it, it will detect if the box turns on, and turn on the TV and select that input.
