I've been doing OTA installations and service for 15 years and I see no need for you to use that antenna. The only functional portion of that today, for the most part, is the part in front of the 'corner reflector' (in front of the V). Maybe some FM could come off the VHF portion of the back...

If you are in an area like I am where the locals only come off of 129 (stupid low satellite on the east coast, like 21 degrees high) that may be your problem. Have you considered getting a UHF antenna installed to pick up your local channels? If you get an OTA for locals then a 1000.2 EA...

It is kind of silly that Dish doesn't ship HDMI or even component cables with their HD receivers. I work for a local retailer and we can only supply HDMI cables to the customer if they pay us extra for them(many complaints of "I thought everything was free!"). Otherwise they get two RCA cables...

If you are using a DPP Twin and a DP single/dual you can not use a DP34 switch. You'd either have to swap the DPP Twin for a DP Twin or the DP34 for a DPP44. I think the LNB swap might be a little cheaper, but the switch swap will make working with dual tuner receivers easier.

I can't imagine going out on an install without a pole and concrete. The custom charges like pole mount and trenching is where the money is at.

Geronimo are you saying that you think a UV antenna will pick up digital VHF (i think they all broadcast digital in UHF now) better than just a UHF antenna will? Today I took down a customers U/V antenna system and replaced it with a simple CM4221 and all of their digital reception improved...
