    Bummer. Thanks for the replies though. I will try to figure something else out. I just don't want to fork out $4.99/month for a receiver that only gets used once in a while (guest bedroom). Could I just inactivate the receiver when I don't use it and reactivate when I do need it?

    I am considering buying an H20 receiver on Ebay. I would not activate it right away, but would hook up an antenna to it and just use it to watch OTA channels. The question is will the H20 work in OTA mode even if it's not hooked up to a dish and/or activated?

    Anyone else having problems with Atlanta NBC HD feed?

    I live in the Atlanta area and NBC is just horrible. Breakups, sound drops, bad pixellation. I also get NBC over the air and it is just as bad, so it's not DirecTv's fault.
