    I believe local blackout rules still apply. The only way you can see part of the game is on the red zone channel. If I am wrong someone else can correct me.

    I just changed to a HD DVR last month; did not have to change my package; and just had to pay a 19.95 processing fee and the 4.99 monthly DVR Service fee.

    Alot of it depends how wet the snow is. The drier the snow the less fade I have.

    Locals Problem In Chicago

    I live in the Chicago area too and have not had these problems. While I ocassionaly have picture breakup, audio problems, etc. they are not 5 to 15 times an hour. And I never have the switching between channel problems. I would call DTV.

    In order to watch the games you would need to purchase the MLB, NHL, and NBA packages. You can get the channels on the sports pack and watch the pre game, etc but not the games themselves

    I would like it if you could purchase one team's entire season instead of all the games. Therefore if you followed only 1 or 2 teams you would still get the games you really want to watch and maybe not pay as much money

    HDNet was removed from the Extra pack with the settlement deal with Mark Cuban. HD Theater is owned by Discovery and was never going to be part of HD Extra.
