Alot of it depends how wet the snow is. The drier the snow the less fade I have.

I live in the Chicago area too and have not had these problems. While I ocassionaly have picture breakup, audio problems, etc. they are not 5 to 15 times an hour. And I never have the switching between channel problems. I would call DTV.

In order to watch the games you would need to purchase the MLB, NHL, and NBA packages. You can get the channels on the sports pack and watch the pre game, etc but not the games themselves

Is anyone experiencing this? Every time I tune to a new MPEG4 channel, I get the 771 message for a few seconds, then a black screen for a few seconds, then the channel appears and stays on. It's only annoying when you are switching between channels (i.e. watching scores on ESPN and a movie...

That was true for HDNet. HD Theater's owner is connected to the same company that now owns D*. There was articles about it a long time ago on multichannel news

I wouldn't take it either. There are times where the HD feed isn't working but the SD feed is just fine

I would like it if you could purchase one team's entire season instead of all the games. Therefore if you followed only 1 or 2 teams you would still get the games you really want to watch and maybe not pay as much money

HDNet was removed from the Extra pack with the settlement deal with Mark Cuban. HD Theater is owned by Discovery and was never going to be part of HD Extra.

Just for clarification It's Universal HD in the Extra Pack instead of National Geographic National Geographic has a SD counterpart
