    yes there is RCA Y/R/W out on the DVR if the TV is within 25' or so and if it is further there are many wireless solutions x10 makes one, I think RCA makes one.

    Can this be done???

    I would go to weaknees.com and go through them, and get an upgraded dvr with more time 50 hrs of programing (MPEG-4) is not enough and the rest will be free except for running the 2nd coax to the dvr.
