It does matter which port you hook the wires too when cascading the switches, output 1 must connect to input 1 on the second swtich and so on.. (People dont read the manuals that come with these things or what? Knowing dish though, it probably says it doesnt matter.. Just like they say you can...

    Sound Dropouts On Channel 191

If this is the only channel your having problems with, I'd say it's the channel and probably doesn't have anything to do with your system.

    Multi-Dish install

If your dish was working to begin with and you've lost the 110 all of the sudden then your SW21 is probably going bad. Swtich the two lines from the LNB's at the switch, if your 110 shows up and your 119 dissapears then this confirms that your switch is bad. If it doesn't, then either you have...

If your Line-Of-Sight is clear and you have no corroded fittings, I would say your LNB is going bad.

Have Dish500, but programming says need another dish?

The appropriate hardware resolution for a 3rd satellite with 3+ receivers is a SW64, they are junk. =) Dont let the tech put the switch on the roof.

    Superdish alternative Switch hookup

DO NOT use the Legacy Quad LNB on the SW64 switch, it will only work (if at all) for a week or so and then the Quad LNB burns up. I know dish claims that this setup works and its even in the DNSC training manuals, trust me, it doesn't work. And No, a Legacy Twin will not work with a SW64...

    522 and one wire installation

Yes, you can diplex the 2nd tuner output into one of the satellite lines, make sure to use a Power Passing diplexer rated for 2150MHz. (I use Perfect Vision diplexers) (I do this all the time in houses that are pre-wired with dual lines.)

can i use any port in the dp34 switch ?

Yes, you can use ANY port on the DishPro SW34. You installed the 3rd line? Double check your f-connectors, keep in mind that NONE of the silver braid may be in contact with the copper center conductor, also make sure you have the line from the SW34 plugged into the "Satellite Input" on the...

    Can I use a 3X4 multiswitch to add a 3rd reciever?

If you are using a Dish-300 w/ a Legacy Dual LNB then yes, this SAM34 switch should work fine. You could also use a Dish Network SW44 or SW64, I'm not sure what the price of the SW44's are but I know that the SW64 is around $160 dollars. Dish 111, 311, 322, 522, and 811 receivers no longer...
