IMO the customer is not worth the headache you are going to be dealing with, with cable runs that long and the non-standard equip being used, and your lack of knowledge of products being used they are going to probably haunt you for a long long time.

Not to throw a wrench in your statement, but the "4 recordings" are 2 local channels and 2 channels of any variety at the same time, it is not 4 channels regardless of local or non-local channels as 2 of the recordings are OTA ONLY.

You may be able to get away with not having to go to EA if you can some how get a non-sub contractor tech to come out to your house and bring with them either a Dish500/1000+ mast...the mast is a few inches longer than a dish 1000.2 mast and MAY get you a few more years worth of decent signal...

Honestly the issue you are going to run into is the LG HTS. I would suggest just getting a cheap regular Yamaha HTS, a regular blue-ray player and that will make life sooo much easier.
