I noticed this too, yet Ken H. does not give the reason why this is "misguided". I guess this information must be secret. Perhaps someone here could point to a reference regarding the E* and D* issue because I have looked in many locations for similar news and am unable to find anything as well.

I get the channel on VOOM but also want it on D*. I hope you can understand. But I had to go through quite an ordeal with VOOM to have them turn it on. D* will not turn it on for me. Does anyone get 84 who is not signed up for the HD package? Perhaps this is a dumb question because...

Please help, I am still trying to get 84. They told me I had to do the following. The ones that place and x next to, I have done. 1. Get the national networks (NBC 382, 383) - x 2. Switch from Pegasus to DTV - x 3. Sign up for the local channels - x 4. Sign up for the HD package...

I get the distant nets, and had them turn on the locals this morning, and still no 84.

I also have the waivers and no 84. Also on hold with D* for 30 min. I also get 321 on VOOM but had to call and plead with them and they turned it on . This sure is a pain. What is the best way to get Directtv. Last night I was on hold for over 60min and gave up. Anyone have a better number...
