They"re a snapshot of a single moment. We try to always have good numbers up there! Its the overall quality of the entire transponder that is important. Getting all the channels to look as good as possible with the available bandwidth! Wouldnt you agree?

Like Sean says, they are variable.. You will get different numbers everytime you check. The encoders takes what it needs when it needs it.

Those numbers mean nothing...

When you say "uplink center", you mean Blackhawk in South Dekota. The VOOM programming uplink is not in the E* deal.

I am planning as if they are all going up at once. But, even with that said, there is a roll out period. Wouldnt be smart to throw the switch and have them all go at once. We roll out on a schedule to control any problems that might pop up.

Even with the suspended spin off we are not slowing down and show no sign of giving up. As far as the VOOM uplink and origination is concerned, its business as usual! Thanks for the support!!

Remember guys, we dont have an unlimited channel capacity on the satellite. In fact, once we get SCI FI and FSN Cleveland up.. we are out of space (for now!) but a lot more space starting 2005 is coming!!!!

Thanks for the insight. The Voom Monitoring folks didnt see anything on HBOHD or Starz!. I asked them to keep an extra eye on it and page me if there is any noticable problems.

The only phone number we would give out it the VOOM number. As you can see, we monitor the forums, so that is a good method of communication. As for the audio, we don't adjust any audio levels coming in. If we hear a problem, we will call the source and have them look into it on their end. HDN...

We havent seen this at the uplink. Doesnt mean it doesnt exsist. I will have the folks here keep and extra eyeball on it. Thanks.

We are still playing with the optimum settings to get every channel looking great! Sometimes however, if the source is bad (i.e.: BET) then it will look bad on VOOM.
