    Voom in Alabama

Looks good, 19-1, 25-1, 31-1, 36-1, 48-1, 48-2, 54-1, 54-2 all come in good. For some reason I don't get 19-2, haven't figured that one out yet. I did get it one day, on 48-2 and 54-2 LOL. Voom dictates which locals they want you to have. By that I mean, where I live I can get (use to get) B'ham...

    Voom in Alabama

I'm in Marshall Co. and my installer came all the way from Athens. If you're really into HD content and not that worried about getting your locals then Voom is the way to go. Hope they get the locals bug fixed soon but not holding my breath.

    They think were idiots

correction............I didn't, the installer did. I can see how, there is nothing on the back that says input/output, just little stick drawings that really don't look like much other than the Sat drawing. The "OTA in" looks like a power pole, not a antenna. I tired that Horizontal and...

    They think were idiots

Be shocked my friend............I get all of the above mentioned very well plus a few more with the exception of WAAY which comes and goes. They provide no HD content anyway so no loss there. I also get WIAT and WVTM out of B'Ham very well. As for the HD receiver I'm using the Samsung TS160. As...

wasch24.......thank you That has to be the problem, only if Voom understood that. One question for you. In my locaction, between Birmingham (70 miles 219*) and Huntsville (50 miles 333*) Alabama. I can receive both OTA markets. With the Voom so called mapping, can I only get the one market...

    They think were idiots

BTW, I'm not dishing Voom as a whole. For anyone who wants HD and and not concerned with OTA that much, I highly recommend Voom over any other provider.

    They think were idiots

I don't see it that way...........It shouldn't matter if I'm using a close hanger for a antenna, if I have a 80+ OTA signal on 3 receivers why not the 4th?
