i could put it on top of the trailer i suppose, but it's 13'6" off the ground, i'd have to get a ladder too, just to put it up there and such... although the idea is pretty good... that would take care of security...

the only issue i see with a tripod mount is that sometimes i have to park in a security risk area, like chicago, for instance, and some other places where i know that the dish wouldn't last 10 minutes... other than that, the tripod looks appealing. thx for the input, and keep it coming...
